We have had a busy 2 weeks. We had our Tavaci Concert of "Thank You for the music". Tay had regional soccer that week. The next week I had our Granger Elementary Music concert and then we headed for State Soccer in Sheridan, WY. It was a beautiful area with green fields everywhere. The kids actually play on a polo field. We had fun with Karlee staying in the Wingate hotel. Of course it had a swimming pool which we had to make sure we played in once a day. I have to admit that it was the hot tub that I sat in most.
These are my 6th graders. They were great and have wonderful voices.
Dad and Fran came to help. It was great to have them come and visit. We had some good talks.
We had one of our wonderful rain storms. It was warm! It was raining yet the sun was out. Here is Karlee playing it. We had 2 brilliant rainbows.
Here we are at State Soccer all the players walk on behind the referee and then spread out. Tay is number 15.
Right before every game they gave a cheer and had a group prayer.
Just a little tired trying to catch my breath!
In the end they played 3 games. The first game they lost so it put them in the consolation bracket. They one the second game and lost the 3rd game putting them in 6th place.
Here we are at our hotel. It was very nice and we enjoyed the amenities.
